Clay Lane Nursery was started in 1983 as a general nursery growing and selling plants for all seasons but we now specialise in Fuchsias although other plants have been known to take up residence now and again.  Our particular interest in Fuchsias has always been with the original Fuchsia species and the unusual hybrids.  We have staged exhibits at the Royal Horticultural Society's shows at Westminster, Chelsea, Wisley and the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show using these types of plants and were probably the first nursery to use a somewhat unconventional format to display Fuchsias at these shows.

We have been awarded silver and silver gilt medals in both the Lindley and the Flora ranges of medals at all four venues.  At Hampton Court in 2003 we were also awarded an engraved crystal bowl for the most innovative exhibit in the floral marquees.

The Nursery is open from March until the end of June but we advise people to phone and check before travelling.  Visitors are welcome at other times by prior arrangement.
