Friendly greeting at the gate - followed by an exciting array of tempting plants - again friendly exhibitors (prefereably not with their arms crossed and a bored looking attitude!) and good displays. As a show organiser, and a customer, can't tell you
how important it is that you "display" your plants to their advantage. Just placing them all out in a row will not tempt customers to buy! Make mini gardens if you can. Good descriptions on each plant and if its not in flower, put a colour photograph on
it as not everyone (see HEA Newsletter Sept 2011) knows the latin names!!!!!! And finally, when they have bought the plant, tell them as much as possible about where and how to plant it.
